Is there an age limit? 

Yes, Hibanacon is 18+ only.

 

When do ticket sales close?

Tickets will be sold up to midnight 01/11/2018, or until spaces run out, whichever is sooner. Tickets sold within the last 14 days before the convention will not be guaranteed to have a pre-printed name on a badge. In this case the badge names will be written in on the day.

 

Do you offer day tickets?

We only offer weekend tickets for Hibanacon. This is for a number of reasons, chief amongst them being we run different events over the three days, so you'd have no guarantee about what you would be seeing on each one until very close to the date.

 

Will there be a waiting list?

We will introduce a waiting list once all tickets have sold out.

 

Do you have single-day tickets?

We are only offering tickets for full-weekend access to all of Hibanacon.

 

I can only attend 1 day, can I give my ticket to a friend for the other days?

Tickets and badges are registered to a single person only and are not transferable.

When is Hibanacon?

2nd November 2018 - 4th November 2018.

 

Where is Hibanacon being held?

How do I register for Hibanacon?

You can register and buy tickets on our registrations page.

 

Can I register multiple people?

Yes, you can buy up to 2 tickets via our registrations page in a single transaction.

 

What should I bring with me on the day to register?

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Your printed e-ticket
 

What forms of Photo ID do you accept?

  • Passport
  • Photo card driving licence
  • Any Photo ID that meets the PASS standard, please see the PASS website for a list of valid forms of photo ID.
 

My Photo ID is out of date, can I still use it?

We do not accept expired photo ID. Your Photo ID must meet the following criteria:

  • Must match the name with which you registered
  • Must be from a valid vendor e.g. government issued or carry the PASS mark
  • Must be a photo ID
  • Your photo must be be up-to-date and resmble your appearence
  • Must not be expired and is valid for the full duration of the convention 
  • We do not accept student union or NUS cards as valid forms of ID
 

I would like to run an event or panel, what should I do?

How do I book accommodation for Hibanacon?

We highly recommend staying at the Jurys Inn Milton Keynes to get the best from your convention experience! 

 

I have registered but not received my tickets, what do I do?

First of all please check your spam folder!

If you still can't find your ticket please contact us.

Provide as many of the following details as you can, For each missing ticket:
  • email address used to register the person
  • The first/last name the person was registered with
  • The badge name
  • Address details

  If your question is regarding payment, please also provide us with:

  • Cardholders name
  • Card Type
  • Last 4 digits of the card number

Yes, Hibanacon is run by DCNW Ltd, a not for profit company.
